These are my new little buddies: DREADS! They're kind of really loose right now but my hairdresser (the lovely Amanda, who you should definitely check out if you're ever in the area) says with regular upkeep, they should be fully locked in about 4 - 6 months. I thought if your hair was already natural it would take less time to loc, but what do I know? Total dreadlock noob here. I'm really looking forward to getting to know (and documenting for you!) my hair in its new state though
