Well anyways, I was inspired by our little convo to dig through my closet and find my favorite of the 3 G-Shocks I had. Peep it:
Chrome Baby-G Shock.
It lights up in 3 different colors and a little animation plays at the bottom when it's lit (I'm easily entertained)!

It's still ticking and keeping the right date (even after "losing" it for about 5 years... there was no point in rockin' it, there's a clock on my phone!)!!!
I would consider wearing this watch on the regular again, but do people still wear watches like that? Nowadays I think of them as more of a fashion statement since everyone (everyone I know at least) gets the time from their cell phones. I mean, I always get the time from my phone (the same phone that is currently being held together with a rubberband ... Please donate to the cause y'all, upper right hand corner of the screen ).
I don't see many chicks rockin' dope watches these days, is watch rockin' more of a guy's fashion trend?

All I see are famous dudes wearing G-Shocks. Here's 'Ye rockin his:
And Pharrell, of course:
And Travis McCoy (from Gym Class Heroes):
And Fabolous...
I think you get the point by now. The only famous chick worth writing about that I found wearing a G-Shock was Estelle:
To rock or not to rock... that is the question...
