Hairy situation: lint removal

Despite my diligence in wearing a satin bonnet at night, one loc at the nape of my neck has attracted an obscene amount of lint. So much that part of the loc itself is white because of it. Major angryface evil

I figured there's other dread newbies out there wondering how to solve this problem, so here's what I did to get rid of that mess: I took a pair of tweezers and went to work plucking the lint out. That worked OK, but this particular loc reeeeally had the lint embedded in it, so I poured some apple cider vinegar on it, which dissolved even more of the lint. After the plucking and vinegar rinse, the loc was admittedly a little (A LOT) fuzzy looking, so I wet it with water then retwisted it with shea butter.

Parfait!
