Hair Update: 9 1/2 months

I'm almost at the 10-month mark with my hair, and there's so much I'm looking forward to doing with it. However, some minor issues still arise every now and then...

The budding! OMG it's insane. Some locs are sprouting buds in multiple places. I know it's part of the whole loc-ing process, but I wish they would hurry up and straighten out.

The frizz! Of course, I'm still fighting embracing it. But, like the extreme budding, I'm hoping that'll straighten itself out eventually.

It's not all budding and frizz though. Now that my hair's begun to look and feel more like actual dreads, I have some favorite locs. Like this one...

I'm also contemplating hair colors. I know it's a little... bright... but I'm digging this lady's dye job:

I would only dye the ends of my locs this color, or maybe two or three in the back (gotta keep myself employable y'all ).
