DJ Zero?

Like Guitar Hero and Band Hero before it, gaming company Activision has plans to release DJ Hero. From uncrate.com:

If you aren't exactly Slash on Guitar Hero, maybe you'll be able to spin some virtual vinyl with DJ Hero ($TBA; Fall 09). Activision's newest music gaming experience will feature a new turntable controller and says DJ Hero will "transform players into DJs who rule the club scene by creating original mixes of popular songs and music from the world's most exciting artists and DJs." Genres include hip-hop, R&B, Motown, electronica and dance.

This sounds cool... but as someone who takes her music/bedroom DJing VERY seriously, I'm not sure how I feel about any & erryone thinking they can just plug in some fake turntables and be a "DJ." Then again, it IS all about the fantasy I guess. And it's not like ppl don't already think they're doing something special DJ-wise by plugging in their iPods and lettin it rock. It's an artform, people! Anyways, I don't think I'll be copping this for myself, but maybe you gamers out there can let a sista know what's up once it's released.
