Bobbin' & weavin'

Lisa fact: I have never had a weave or any kind of fake hair put in. Ever.

I'm not revealing this to prove how "above" weave or whatever I am. Growing up, there's nothing more I wanted than some fake hair! But my mom was totally against it, something about "be happy with the gorgeous hair you have already" or some mess. By the time I was old enough to be like "eff what you think Mom!" <---(are you ever this old? lol) I didn't care to have fake hair put in anyways. I mean, let's say I have to beat a b*tch down for whatever reason. I don't want her to be able to pull out MY hair, the hair I PAID FOR, and have that mess all in the streets like some tumbleweave. I like tacky, but that's just TOO tacky, you smell me?

Anyhoo, thinking about my upcoming appointment to get locs, I was thinking "Dag, I really won't get to realize my childhood fake hair fantasy." Well, unless I get a wig. But I plan on growing my dreads as long as possible and, honey, a lumpy wig is NOT the business.
