Knockoff cars

What is up with these cheaper cars looking like more expensive ones? I feel like I've been seeing more than usual lately. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm totally in favor of ballin on a budget. But ain't that a little deceptive? For instance: The Nissan Z.

Looks WAY more expensive than it is. Every time I saw one of these I'd be like, "Dayum! Is that some expensive-ass brand name car that only rappers have?" but nope, it would be a Z. $29K for the 2009 model, versus $98K for the car it looks like, a Porsche.

Same with the Chrysler 300, which is like the poor man's Bentley.

The 2009 models start at about $28K, versus around $150K for an actual Bentley.

And then we have the Nissan Maxima (Nissan must really like imitating bigger brand names), which looks suspiciously like a Volvo:

I don't see anything wrong with buying a knockoff car. Hey, it's a big ticket item, and not everyone can drop $100K on a vehicle. But I must admit, I am a little disappointed when I do a double take and that joint isn't real neutral
