On the menu:
- Hamburger
- Fried potatoes & onions
- Mac & cheese (for me, because I'm not too big on the fried foods)
Plus, I failed to inform you guys, but Boquisha had to be put back in the shop because her "Check Engine" light wouldn't go off. That reminds me of this Kanye West line:
... The girls, really they get in the car.Haha. Anyways, I thought it might be a problem with the transmission, since sometimes when backing up the car would shut off completely
And they always wanna look over and be like
"Aw n*gga, yo check engine light on, it's on"
I'm like "Ya top on, so we got two things we tryin to get off right here"
Took her to my uncle's trusty mechanic friend, who initially offered to charge me only (ugh, "only") $1000 if the problem was the transmission, versus the $3000 another local shop was gonna charge me.
Long story short, turns out it wasn't the transmission, it was a far cheaper problem: the timing belt needed to be changed, plus some computer chip inside the engine that was causing the light to not go off. $300 he's charging me! That's $700* I saved I don't get her back til Wednesday, though (but, hey, I saved $700!!!).
Of course, today's theme song is this:
♫ It Was a Good Day
*I'm not just realizing this, but taking care of a car is hella expensive. However, Boquisha is like family to me and I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world in terms of transportation, bet that. Well, except for a BMW 325i.
Mommy still luhs you boo!
