Thanksgiving is a day
mired in controversy, so I'm a little "eh" about celebrating the day in its traditional sense. But I've always been down to celebrate it secularly!
This is what my table's gonna look like TODAY
Thanksgiving was originally set aside to thank God for a successful harvest season, but I like to take the day to reflect on all the things I'm grateful for in my life:
- A loving family and good friends
- Good health
- A sense of humor
- Finishing school (def. a biggie for this year)
- My youth (thus having the time and energy to pursue my life goals)
- Cats
And a plethora of other things, but especially
my loyal blog readers and commenters! You guys make blogging all the more fun and exciting for me, and I definitely appreciate the love and support. Although if you hate me that's cool too (NOT), just as long as you keep my hit count up
