The inspiration for today's SOTD comes from a ridiculous email I recently received. Some foolio hit me up via email talkin bout "Hey, I 'bootlegged' your site design & layout, my bad, but can you help me change a few things around so it doesn't look like I stole from you? P.S. I'm too broke to pay you for your time and efforts."
Uh... I think it's about to be Declare War On a B*tch Day again.
I thought it went without saying, but I work really hard not only on the content of this blog, but also the design (including the HTML coding) of it. To not be credited for the hours of work I put into this site sucks balls. So, if something on this site inspires you enough to put it on your own blog, CREDIT THE SOURCE. If the design and layout of my blog inspires you to want to add elements of it to your own page, great. But again, CREDIT THE SOURCE. And if you need help tweaking *my* design and layout to your specifications, not only do you need to credit the source, you need to pay up. I don't wave a magic wand and make this mess happen, it takes TIME, THOUGHT, and ENERGY.
So just a reminder, kids: swagger jackin' is NOT the business.
